Sally Greenaway: London Evolution

Canberra composer and performer Sally Greenaway is flying off to London soon to study composition for film.  She put on a farewell concert at the Street Theatre on Friday night that was nothing short of brilliant.  Over two hours the audience was delivered samples of Greenaway’s diverse work; jazz, big band, vocal and pop all featured.

Wall Street and Liena were my favourite pieces.

ArtSound FM recorded the concert and will play it in the Friday Night Live timeslot (Friday 8pm-10pm) sometime in the future.  In the meantime, wander over to Greenaway’s site to hear some of her works. Two sets of photos of the concert have been published on Facebook.
