Correspondence and rallies might make participants feel better, but are they having any effect in influencing decision-makers or those who influence decision-makers? This concept map is my attempt to plot the lay of the land at the moment and attempt to identify points of influence and courses of action that the nocleanfeed movement might have overlooked for consideration and discussion. It was made in CmapTools.
Safer Internet Day is coming up on 10 Feb 09. Pro-clean feed people and organisations will have press releases ready; will counter-feed advocates?

That map covers a hell of a lot of ground and is probably a really good overall reference. May I suggest that you take chunks of it one at a time and do a post on how you see how that part of the map works?I’m going to have another look at it to see if I disagree with any of it.
@websinthe Writing pieces on various clusters and flows is the intention. Finding the time and getting it done before the landscape shifts again is the challenge.
Hi Dean,cool
I like the idea of leaving it as one big chunk – it shows the areas of greatest concern (i.e. the unknowns in ???) really well.Best regards, Andrew
Seems to me that we all have to do what we can influence. I have found politicians very responsive to direct engagement. I like doing that, so that is what I would do. Other people have other ways to engage and perhaps better contacts. Great map. Not sure I understand it all.
I agree it is important to develop our understanding of what will get the public on board, identifying what activities are threatened by the filter, then getting that message out. The economic consequences of a slow internet will disadvantage Australia. A blocked business web site could be disastrous for the owners and the workers. There is no transparency re the method of unblocking etc. Emphasise this – the hip pocket nerve usually works, and Conroy has no studies of the likely economic impact of the filter.Good map, will think some more on it.
@NathanaelB Nope. Just went back through your stream since Saturday and cannot find said tweet. Concept map v1 here: http://is.gd/fPoI
